O Mary, through your powerful intercession in God's heart
Look with loving tenderness on all the homeless of the world
That through you, they may ask for help and support,
The will to be free of their bonds
The grace to accept a helping hand
The joy of being recognized for their worth
And the strength just to accept to be loved.
Look also with favour on all those who care for them.
Help them to look without judging
To find words of encouragement
Bring them joy in their success and humility in failure
Help them each day to hope against all hope
And fill their hearts with true love.
So that by you and with you, Notre Dame de la Rue,
Each one may become brothers in Christ.
